A Gmail Inbox Built Into Your CRM
Read and answer customer email without leaving Heed. Your Gmail inbox loads live, each thread shows its company and deal, and Atlas drafts the reply.
Your Gmail Inbox, Inside the CRM
A rep with 23 open deals should not need two tabs to answer one email. Heed shows your full Gmail inbox next to the pipeline. Switch to Customers to see only the threads with companies you sell to, or Needs Reply to see who is waiting on you.
- All Mail, Customers, Needs Reply, Unread, Inbox and Sent views
- Read live from Gmail, so nothing is out of date

Every Thread Knows Its Company and Deal
Open a thread and Atlas sums it up in a few lines. Next to it you see the company, the open deal, its stage and its owner. When a thread looks like a new deal, Atlas says so and you create it in one click. The same idea finds prospects you have not added yet.
- Legal accepted the terms except section 4 (liability cap).
- Marco wants a call with your counsel before signing.
- They still target a start date of November 1.
Replies Drafted in Your Voice
Atlas drafts replies that sound like you, using the thread and what Heed knows about the deal. Learning from your sent mail is opt-in. You send from your own Gmail address, and open and click tracking tells you when the pricing email was actually read.
Hi Lena, yes, the import reads straight from your billing system. I can walk your finance lead through the setup on Thursday after the demo, it takes about ten minutes. Want me to add them to the invite?
PriyaSome Email Stays Yours
Connecting Gmail is opt-in for each person. Exclude domains and labels, or mark one thread private, and Heed stops logging it and removes what was already logged. Admins cannot read anyone else's inbox. The details are on our security and privacy page.
Questions People Ask
- Does Heed copy my whole mailbox?
- No. The inbox is read live from Gmail when you open it. Heed logs email with companies in your CRM on their timelines, starting with the last 30 days, and skips domains, labels and threads you exclude.
- Which email providers work with Heed?
- Gmail and Google Workspace only. Heed is built for teams on Google and does not support Outlook or Microsoft 365.
- Can my manager read my email?
- No. Admins cannot read anyone else's inbox, and connecting Gmail is opt-in for each person. You can also mark a single thread private.
- How does Atlas write replies in my voice?
- It uses the thread, what Heed knows about the deal and your company's writing rules. If you opt in, it also learns from email you have sent. You always edit and send the draft yourself.
- Can I see when someone opens my email?
- Yes. Email you send from Heed goes out from your own Gmail address with open and click tracking, and the opens show on the message.
