Security and Privacy at Heed
What Heed stores, what Atlas can see and how to take everything with you, in plain words.
The Short Version
A CRM holds your customers, your pipeline and often your inbox. Here is how Heed treats each of them.
Isolated Workspaces
Each team works in its own workspace. Your records, email and Atlas answers come only from your workspace.
Gmail Is Opt-In
Each person decides whether to connect Gmail, and can disconnect at any time.
Your Inbox Stays Yours
Admins cannot read anyone else's inbox or see a teammate's privacy settings.
Nothing Changes Without Confirm
Atlas proposes every change as a card. It runs only after you press Confirm.
Export Anytime
Download a CSV, or the whole workspace as a ZIP of CSV files.
Delete Anytime
Delete your account or the whole workspace from settings. No support ticket.
Gmail on Your Terms
The inbox in Heed is read live from Gmail when you open it. What Heed keeps on customer timelines is email with companies already in your CRM, starting with the last 30 days. Disconnecting revokes Heed's access. Emails already logged on a customer stay there as part of the record, unless you exclude them.
- Opt-in for each person, with disconnect at any time
- Exclude domains and Gmail labels, or mark one thread private
- Excluded mail is removed from Heed if it was already logged
- Admins cannot read anyone else's inbox
What Atlas Can See and Do
Atlas works from the records in your workspace and the company profile your admins wrote. It cannot change anything on its own. Every new record, update or bulk change is a card that runs once, and only after you press Confirm.
- Runs on Anthropic's Claude through Amazon Bedrock
- AWS does not use Bedrock prompts to train models
- Learning your writing style from sent mail is opt-in
- A daily Atlas limit for each person
- Halcyon Pilot
- Orbit Freight Rollout
- Copperleaf Annual
- and 11 more
Take Your Data With You, or Delete It
Your pipeline should never be stuck in a tool. Managers can export the whole workspace whenever they want. Anyone can delete their own account from settings, and the owner can delete the workspace with everything in it. Coming from another CRM? Contacts come over with a CSV import, as the Pipedrive comparison shows step by step.
- CSV export, or the whole workspace as a ZIP
- Delete your account, handing your records to a teammate
- The workspace owner can delete the whole workspace
- All traffic to Heed runs over HTTPS
